Hellow my lovely class.i got a good news from my family at Samoa.UB40 Will be at Samoa this month for the Independence day celebration.Four people of my family ready for Samoa bt me i can't go.hahahaha

Special Custom in Samoa

ARRIVAL CEREMONY this is a special custom when people of Samoa serve special quest.Within arrival ceremony it is a traditionto serve whats Samoan call "ava".The "ava" is a special drink that is distributed to chief of the hosting village and also to the visitor.When the ava is being prepared during the ceremony a young woman with a title also known as a "taupou" is therefore set to perform this duty of mixing the ava.
